Millstream’s Crossing Pool

I spent the Anzac Day weekend camping at Millstream’s Crossing Pool. It is a photographers paradise and I was lucky enough to get a really good shot of a butterfly in action. The tree by the homestead was full of butterflies and many people wandering by did not even notice it.

The most amazing sight was the thousands of white cockatoos resting in the trees on the opposite bank driving us all nuts with their constant chatter (no Hullo Harry’s here), then at 6.00pm every night they all flew away in 3 waves. Where they went is anybody’s guess but they were back at 10.00am next day to drop their bombs over everybody and every tent, car and chair at the campsite.
